What we collect
When you contact Izmi, request an audit, book a call or submit a speculative CV, we receive the details you provide. These can include your name, email address, company website, message, preferred call time, timezone, optional preparation notes, CV, career introduction, basic referral or campaign information and limited technical data needed to prevent abuse.
Why we use it
We use this information to respond to your request, prepare for a conversation, deliver an audit, consider you for suitable future roles, maintain our business records and understand which parts of the website lead to genuine enquiries. Our usual legal basis is legitimate interests or taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
Who processes it
We use service providers only where needed to run the website and respond to enquiries. Cloudflare hosts the site and stores booking records in D1. Google Calendar checks availability, creates the calendar event and provides the Google Meet link. Resend delivers verification, confirmation, reminder and form emails. If we temporarily enable the previous Calendly booking fallback, Calendly processes the booking instead. Their own privacy terms apply when those services process information.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information only for as long as it is useful for the conversation, a resulting engagement, legal obligations or ordinary business records. Cancelled booking records are removed after 90 days and completed booking records after 12 months. Speculative CVs are kept only while they remain relevant to potential roles. We periodically remove information that is no longer needed, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Cookies and booking links
The core site does not need advertising cookies. When you open a secure booking-management link, we use a short-lived, essential cookie so the reschedule or cancellation request can be completed without leaving the access token in the page address. This cookie is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. If the Calendly fallback is visibly in use, Calendly may set its own cookies and process technical information under its privacy terms.
International processing
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards offered by the provider and applicable data-protection agreements.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or object to its use. Email hello@izmi.ai with the subject “Privacy request”.
